Beneath the misty canopy of the Mexican jungles, are the decaying ruins of a once-noble civilization called the Maya. During their glory days, the Mayans built great cities, adorning them with gleaming gold, turquoise, silver and dazzling precious gems.
The ancient Mayans are long dead, their cities buried beneath rotting jungle debris - but their priceless treasures remain.
Jim Myers, a scientist and adventurer, explores the Mexican jungles for long forgotten ruins. When hes not ankle-deep in mud, running from a swarm of angry bees, or outsmarting grave robbers, he can be found at a local cantina, a cold beer in one hand, and a huge stack of tortillas in the other.
